Nagroda Mercury dla najlepszego albumu muzycznego w Wielkiej Brytanii i Irlandii przyznawana jest regularnie od 1992 roku. W jej kapitule zasiadają brytyjscy krytycy i istotne dla przemysłu muzycznego osoby. Dotychczasowi zwycięzcy, to m.in. James Blake, PJ Harvey, Dizzee Rascal, Pulp, Portishead, Arctic Monkeys, Skepta, Antony and the Johnsons, a w zeszłym roku Sampha.
